About Us
Red Roof Cottage is situated in a row of beautifully restored, stone cottages in a quiet street within the picturesque, medieval village of Much Wenlock in Shropshire. We not only named the cottage after my father’s favourite childhood book – “Red Roof Farm” – but also after the view it enjoys over the historic old, red tiled roofs of Much Wenlock to the church steeple beyond.
From the outside, it is the quintessential chocolate box cottage. On the inside, we have worked with interior designers to create an elegant, stylish retreat.

With our family based here in Shropshire, our cottage is enjoyed by family and friends and is available to rent at other times throughout the year.
