Our cottage is perfectly suited for solo travellers, a couple, or two friends looking for the perfect countryside break. This is a hidden gem with contemporary amenities and rustic charm. With the classic décor and fabulous artwork throughout the cottage, our getaway is designed for instant relaxation.

Enjoy A Fantastic Night’s Sleep
On the first floor, the main bedroom has double height ceilings and a large window with fantastic views over the village, creating an uplifting, luxurious feel. The Susie Watson super king size bed and Egyptian cotton bedding create the perfect cocoon for a peaceful night’s sleep.
The house is rented to a maximum of 2 adults, but the fact that there is a second bedroom with a single bed gives you flexibility and allows for separate beds if you are travelling with a friend or if snoring is an issue! You’ll just have to fight over who has the best bed!

Downstairs, the cottage consists of an open plan living kitchen/dining area. It has a floor to ceiling glass patio door which floods the room with light and opens out to the courtyard garden where you can enjoy your early morning coffee or relaxed sunset drinks (weather permitting!)
If the weather isn’t playing ball, the super comfy kitchen chairs are the perfect place to perch, hook up your phone to the Bluetooth radio, and enjoy a delicious meal.
The WiFi will also have you fully connected, and you can chill in the cosy living area, using the television to give you access to your favourite apps like Netflix and Amazon alongside terrestrial TV.

Red Roof Cottage is based in an absolute gem of a village. Much Wenlock makes sure everything you need is at your fingertips, while also providing a great range of shops and activities.
Things to Note
Parking
Parking is on-street, outside the cottage.
Two of the car parks in the village also have banks of EV charging stations.
Cooking at Red Roof Cottage
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need including a large electric oven, gas hobs, a microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer.
Wash Facilities
Downstairs is completed by a cloakroom with WC and washbasin. Upstairs, the bathroom has a large walk-in shower as well as a bath.
Beautiful linens and fluffy towels complement the tasteful furnishings in both facilities.
Upstairs Access
Please be aware that there is a handrail to help, but the stairs are cottage-style and quite steep.
Rules of Stay
Unfortunately, although we love them, we have a strict policy of no pets. Our cottage is also unsuitable for children.
Guests are asked to please refrain from smoking or vaping as this is not allowed in any part of Red Roof Cottage.
